Supporting A+ Certification, PC Hardware and Operating Systems

Description

This program is designed to prepare students for the taking of CompTIA Certification Exams. After program completion, students must still pass certification tests to be certified in program. Technical Certification tests must be completed at an authorized Prometric or VUE testing center. CompTEC is an authorized VUE testing center. Test vouchers must be purchased separately.

Objective

Packed with detailed lectures and intensive hands-on exercises, this program is the one students will want to take if they are serious about becoming an A+ Certified Service Professional. We cover PC hardware, including system boards, bus structures, PC memory and power supplies. In this program we also learn tips and tricks on disassembly, installation and reassembly. DOS, Macintosh and Windows working environments will be explored thoroughly, along with a number of issues regarding printers.
