Veterans - Funding Information

  1. MGIB eligible candidates will be required to pre-pay 60% of the published tuition (that is the amount equal to what the VA will reimburse you). CompTEC will issue a grant for the remaining 40%, so your final out of pocket expenses for tuition, after being reimbursed by the VA, is zero. It typically takes the VA 3-6 months to issue the reimbursement. Some veterans may need to arrange a short term loan or use a credit card to fund their tuition. CompTEC works with Sallie Mae Corporation for students to finance there education. (http://www.comptec.com/services-financial.aspx)
  2. CompTEC is responsible for processing all paper work required by the VA. Student is responsible for verifying attendance as required by the VA
  3. EXAM FEES: Student will pay for his own exam fees and, as a courtesy, CompTEC will immediately file the necessary paperwork for exam fee reimbursement and Student will keep the funds reimbursed for exam fees. The Veterans Administration will reimburse for up to two attempts on each exam.
  4. In short:
    1. a. Student is responsible for travel to and from West Palm Beach, Fl and for Dinners.
    2. b. VA will reimburse student tuition and tests
    3. c. CompTEC will provide a grant to veterans which include hotel costs (continental breakfast at hotel) and lunch during Bootcamp duration.
